Winterfest Hartford will close for the season with La Paranda at the Bushnell Park Carousel. Join the iQuilt Partnership, the Bushnell Park Foundation and the CICD for this fun celebration, and free Carousel rides. A parranda or trulla is the boricua version of a Christmas Carol. Friends and families gather with instruments like panderos, maracas, güiros, cuatros, and guitars to sing aguinaldos. Cardona and his Jibaro music group will be joined by the Miss Puerto Rico of Greater Hartford Queens and the CICD Puerto Rican Parade Board of Directors.
